Getting back into the water after an extended break from diving? It can be stressful. Your skills may feel rusty. There could be new equipment to review and old rules to familiarize yourself with. You might be tempted to jump right back into the deep blue, but for safety’s sake, we recommend you take your PADI ReActivate course first!

You’ll work closely with a 5-star PADI certified dive instructor here in Puerto Vallarta to refresh whatever kills you feel are the most in need of refreshing so you get back to diving faster and get more out of your next scuba adventure.

What is PADI ReActivate?

PADI Reactivate is a course for certified divers that is made up of two components; theory & practice. Part one will have you complete a knowledge review online, which is an express course through all of the basics, and can even be completed before arrival. Part two is a dive skills refresher that will be done with one of our PADI Dive Masters. Once you have successfully completed these two components, you will receive a replacement certification card which shows a ‘ReActivate Thru’ date.

If you haven’t been on a dive in awhile this PADI ReActivate course is designed to ensure you feel confident the next time you sink beneath the surface. Puerto Vallarta is the perfect place to refresh your skills and scuba dive in some of the most beautiful waters of the Pacific.

How to refresh your Scuba Diving skills in Puerto Vallarta

Once you’ve booked with us, you will receive a PADI e-learning access code which allows you to take the online course. This can be done even before arriving in Puerto Vallarta, leaving your refresher pool dive as the only thing standing between you, and your reactivated certification!

You will be contacted by someone from our Dive Specialist team, who will locate the nearest pool to where you are for your practical refresher course.

Why ReActivate?

While taking a PADI ReActivate course isn’t mandatory, it is a good way to get ready for a diving vacation or to prepare for an upgraded certification course. If you’re an experienced diver who has taken a lengthy hiatus from diving, you may only need a few reminders to get back up to speed. The value of having peace of mind when you’re below the surface can not be overstated. Being able to respond quickly to changing conditions or an emergency is the best way to ensure that every dive is better than the last.
